Umm Al Quwain Talented Council Organizes Family Forum for Gifted Individuals in Partnership with British Applied College As part of its commitment to strengthening the ecosystem for the identification, development, and empowerment of gifted individuals, and in line with the objectives of the **Year of the Family**, the Umm Al Quwain Talented Council, affiliated with the Emirates Association for Talented Individuals, organized the **Family Forum for Gifted Individuals** in partnership with the British Applied College in Umm Al Quwain. The forum aimed to reinforce the role of the family as the primary partner in identifying talent and creating a supportive environment for creativity and excellence. The forum was attended by **H.E. Ahmed Al Dabbani Al Nuaimi**, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Association for Talented Individuals; **H.E. Aisha Rashid Al Yateem**, Member of the Federal National Council, Member of the Board of Directors of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Chairperson of the Umm Al Quwain Businesswomen Council; **H.E. Mona Tahnoon**, Member of the Federal National Council; **Eng. Ahmed Al Soufi**, Dean of the British Applied College; and **Dr. Omar Abdullah Al Muhairi**, Secretary General of the Association, along with members of the Association’s Board of Directors. Representatives of a number of government and private entities, parents, and individuals interested in the development of gifted individuals also attended the event. The forum forms part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to raise community awareness of the importance of early talent identification and to empower families with scientific approaches for recognizing exceptional abilities in their children. These efforts contribute to establishing sustainable pathways for talent development and empowerment in partnership with educational, academic, and community institutions. The forum featured a series of dialogue and awareness sessions highlighting the Emirates Association for Talented Individuals’ vision for developing an integrated national ecosystem for talent identification. It also showcased initiatives implemented by the Umm Al Quwain Talented Council and its role in strengthening local partnerships and expanding community participation in supporting gifted individuals. **Dr. Ibrahim Saif Bouaseeba**, Chairman of the Umm Al Quwain Talented Council, emphasized that the forum reflects the Association’s commitment to building effective partnerships with educational and community institutions. He noted that the family represents the first and most important starting point for identifying talent, and that integrating the role of families with that of relevant institutions helps create an environment capable of nurturing national talent and supporting the UAE’s vision of investing in people and advancing a knowledge- and innovation-driven economy.
