The Ministry of Community Empowerment Commends the Transformational Progress of the Emirates Association for Talent Care and Affirms the Importance of Its Strategic Focus on Financial Sustainability and Enhancing Community Impact
As part of its commitment to strengthening national partnerships that support the development of national talent and contribute to achieving the UAE’s sustainable development goals, a delegation from the Emirates Association for Talent Care visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Community Empowerment in Dubai. The delegation was led by H.E. Ahmed Al Dabbani Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, and included Dr. Fatima Al Darbi, Vice Chairperson of the Board; Dr. Alya Al Jassmi, Chair of the Abu Dhabi Talented Council; and Dr. Noura Al Shamsi, Chair of the Dubai Talented Council.
The delegation was received by H.E. Yousef Al Hammadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Community Empowerment for Support Services, in the presence of a number of ministry officials.
During the meeting, the Association presented its newly approved strategy, adopted by the Board of Directors, which is aligned with the UAE National Agenda. The strategy is designed to remain flexible in responding to national priorities while focusing on creating sustainable community impact, in line with the Ministry’s vision of promoting sustainability and enhancing the effectiveness of public benefit organizations.
H.E. Yousef Al Hammadi commended the Association’s remarkable transformation and the qualitative progress it has achieved in recent years. He praised its programs and initiatives dedicated to discovering, nurturing, and empowering talented individuals and national competencies, with particular recognition of the “Talented Councils” initiative. The initiative brings together a distinguished group of volunteer members from the Association’s General Assembly, representing Emirati nationals, and serves as a national model for strengthening community participation while supporting talent identification and development across the UAE.
The two sides also discussed opportunities to strengthen coordination and cooperation in implementing future projects and initiatives that support national development objectives and reinforce collaboration between public benefit organizations and government entities.
H.E. Ahmed Al Dabbani Al Nuaimi emphasized that financial sustainability and self-sufficiency are among the Board’s highest strategic priorities, ensuring that the Association can continue implementing its programs and projects efficiently and sustainably while expanding its positive community impact without relying on external funding.
For his part, H.E. Yousef Al Hammadi praised this strategic direction, stressing that financial sustainability is one of the key pillars for the success and long-term continuity of public benefit organizations in the UAE. He noted that such an approach reflects strong institutional governance and contributes to achieving sustainable developmental impact that serves society and supports the nation’s strategic priorities.
